    Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia

After making $90 busking on the boardwalk at Halifax Harbour, I went to Peggy's Cove and saw the Peggy's Point Lighthouse, an iconic Canadian image. Apparently it was constructed in 1868 and first lit in 1915. A long time ago! Lots of history here.

It's also the best place on earth to be a seagull. I saw one chowing down on a fresh crab on the rocks. It was really cool to watch them glide along effortlessly on the strong wind coming off the ocean.

And I bet both Stompin' Tom and Stan Rogers have both been here.
